TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This Terms and Condition of Business is made between Great help Agency and the client and it is our policy to strictly keep to its terms especially in the case of dispute.

CONTRACT

  1. .This terms and conditions of business constitutes a contract of agreement between Great help Agency and the client.

  2. Great Help Agency acts as an introduction agency only and does not directly and indirectly employ the cleaner. The cleaners are employed at all times by the client and under his/her supervision and responsibilities.

  3. When Great help Agency provides details of cleaner to the client, an introduction is said to have taken place.

  4. The acceptance of the use of any Great help Agency services constitutes an acceptance of this terms and condition of business

SERVICE

  1. Great help Agency agrees to interview and obtain references for every cleaner presented to the client.

  2. Great help Agency agrees to obtain from cleaners proof of address, identity, and all relevant vetting documentations before placing them with clients.

  3. If the cleaner is unsuitable to the clients needs or leaves, Great help Agency will endeavour to provide a replacement within 7 working days.

  4. In the event of the regular cleaner’s inability to clean, due to sickness or other reasons, Great help Agency will endeavour to provide a temporary cleaner.

FEES

  1. Clients agrees to pay the regular cleaning agency fee by standing order and pay into the agency nominated account every 28 days

  2. Clients agrees to returned the standing order mandate within 5 working days on acceptance of Great help Agency supplying a cleaner

  3. If payment is by invoice, the client agrees to pay immediately on receipt of such invoice.

  4. If the standing order mandate is not returned within 28 days of client using Great help Agency’s cleaner, client will be invoiced at a rate of £15/hour for the times cleaners visited the client premises. The difference will be refunded back to the client as soon as we have a standing order mandate in place.

  5. Client’s services will be suspended if Great help agency do not receive the standing order mandate after the first 28 days of cleaner working with client.

  6. Should a Great Help Agency’s cleaner be referred by client to another person without paying the required agency fee a penalty charge of £800 will be enforced against Great help Agency client.

  7. All prices excludes VAT.

  8. Any change in fee rate will be notify to the client giving a minimum of 14days notice.

CANCELLATION

  1. In the event of service cancellation by client, any advanced payment will not be refunded.

  2. A 30 days cancellation notice must be given by client in writing to Great Help Agency before cancellation of service.

  3.  All cancellations and amendments of the standing order mandate with the bank is under the client’s responsibilities.

  4. . A 10 days notice must be given to the agency before client can change cleaner’s visiting/cleaning date

  5. No service will be provided on Christmas/ New year day and no refund will be given

  6. Clients must inform agency if services will not needed on any of the bank holidays.

  7. Client agrees to give Great help Agency a 14ays notice minimum when on holidays or planning to be away. Agency fees will not refunded if client do not inform agency

  8. Client shall be responsible for cleaner’s traveling cost if cleaner is unable to gain access into client property on the day of visit as arranged.

INSURANCE

  1. Great help Agency has a public liability insurance Policy.

SUPLIMENTARY TERMS

  1. Client agrees that he/she will not employed/ use the cleaner services directly or indirectly within 6 months of the clients cancellation of his/her monthly standing order with the agency or from the first introduction of cleaner to client.

  2. Clients agrees to pay cleaners fees promptly on the day of work after cleaning.

  3. Client is responsible for providing all cleaning materials and equipments and task must be carried out in the clients home.

  4. Client is responsible for making sure that the cleaner gain access to the client’s property on the day of cleaning. Client is also responsible for providing key to the cleaner if client will not be at home.

  5. The Cleaner is not allowed to carry out any specialized cleaning, of any antique, valuable or delicate items.

  6. Cleaners are prohibited from using bleach in the client’s home. Any bleaching substance use in the client’s home is at the client’s risk.

  7. In the event of cleaners losing client’s keys, cleaner is fully responsible for replacement cost.

  8. The agency provides an introduction between its cleaner and the clients.  All information is passed on in good faith and the Great Help Agency does not accept any responsibility whatsoever in any problem resulting from the selection process.

  9. Client must promptly reimbursed Great Help Agency or the cleaner any incidental cost incurred as a result of client’s action in any way.

AMENDMENTS

  1. Great help Agency reserves the right to introduce additional terms to this terms and condition of business and client will be notify of such changes.

COMPLIANTS

  • Complaint must be received by the agency in writing, and a full investigation will be carried out, notifying the client of the outcome within 28days of complaint. If a permanent solution is not reached, we will take such matter to an independent arbitrator to reach a permanent  solution.

Au -Pair Services
These terms and conditions constitute legally binding agreement between Great help au pair which is refer to as the "Agent" and the host family which is refer to as the "client". The client agrees to:

1. To inform the Agent immediately an engagement is arranged with the Au pair. The employment start date must be given at this time.

2. To pay the Agent's fee on offer of a placement for Au pairs. All payments must be received with the invitation letter to the au pair.

3. All details concerning the Au pair which is passed to the client by the agent or directly by the Au pair following the introduction by the Agent are  confidential. In a situation where the client passes this details to any other person, resulting in an engagement of the Au pair by that person or any other, the client shall be liable for the Agent's normal fees as they themselves had engaged the au pair.

4. To keep all Au pairs and clients applications and details secure and confidential.

5. If the Client extend the engagement period of a Temporary Au Pair or re-engage or use in any way the services of any former Au Pair or Temporary Au Pair introduced by The Agent within a period of twelve calendar months from the end of the period of employment, the Client will be liable for the full Engagement Fee.

6. The Agent endeavours to provide the client with Au pairs as well suited to the client as possible and try to be as thorough as possible with our checks on the au pair's references and character, but this agent is not liable for any act or acts carried out by the au pair.

7. The final responsibility for any decision to employ the au pair rest with the client, who is therefore strongly advised to check details, references and documentation personally.

8. The client shall also be responsible for obtaining all work and other permits required by law for the au pair to carry out his/her duties/responsibilities.

9. Free replacements/refunds are offered for au pairs that prove to be unsuitable or incompatible with the family or leave the family home within  4 weeks of a permanent placement and 2 weeks of a temporary placement. Should an au pair not be suitable at least 14 days notice must be given. Likewise all au pairs are expected to give same notice before leaving, however we cannot be responsible in any way for any au pairs actions or behaviour. No refunds will be given should their be a breach of contract whereby conditions offered in the registration form, i.e. suitable accommodation not provided, agreed pocket money (all pocket money must be paid weekly and on time, if not you will be in breach and will not be given a new au pair from this agency) and duties are breached, or if any member of the family have been offensive towards the au pair.

10.If the Au Pair cancels before his/her arrival, either a suitable replacement will be found or a refund of fees less an administration fee of £50 will be given. If the Client family should cancel during this time, 25% of the fee will be refunded.

11.  The Introduction fees are as follows(If paid within 7 days of date of invoice.):

12. Late payment of fees negates the right to a replacement or a refund.

13. No refund will be made if the client makes other arrangements during the time a replacement is being sought, or if the client refuses the replacement offered.

14. The client must notify the agency of the applicants proposed arrival date in writing

15. No refunds are payable and no replacements are made if the host family has not complied with the agency's Terms and Conditions of Business or the accept the guidelines of the Home Office.

16. The agency provides an introduction between its applicants and its clients.  All information is passed on in good faith and the agency does not accept any responsibility for incorrect information given by it applicants or its clients.

17. The agency does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or other misdemeanour caused by the applicants it introduces.

18. The arrival dates of applicants are approximate and cannot be guaranteed by the agency.  The agency is not responsible for making the applicants travel arrangements and does not accept liability for delays.

19. The client's booking and acceptance of an applicant, introduced by the agency means acceptance of the agency's Terms and Conditions of Business, acceptance of our rates and an agreement to pay the introduction fee at the time of booking.

20. Should the client make a car available to the applicant, it is the clients responsibility to ensure that the car is road worthy, adequately insured and fully licensed.  It is also the clients responsibility to verify the driving competence of the applicant and to ensure she or he has a full current valid driving license.  The applicant is not liable for any costs if involved in an accident.

21. The agency reserves the right to use its discretion in any situation not covered in this document.

22. Payment is by cash, cheque and credit card (all cards accepted).

23. These Terms and Conditions of Business may be subject to change without notice and Great help Au Pair agency reserves the right to use its own discretion in any situation involving a problem not covered in this document.
