What is your service about?
We keep a database of carefully interviewed, Interviewed, vetted and selected cleaners which you then employed directly to work in your home.     

Are your cleaners insured?

We are covered by the Public liability cover up to the tune of £1,000,000. Cleaners are self-employed and the agency does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss, expense damage arising from any act or omission of the introduced cleaner.

How are your cleaners vetted?
Our cleaners go thorough a rigorous selection process before we place them with our clients. We make sure that we are satisfied with their proof of address, identity, references, work eligibility and work competence.

What do you charge for your agency services
Our prices are transparent. £8.50/hour for our regular cleaning, £10/hour for our end of tenancy/after party clean and £12/hour for the builders clean excluding vat.

What are my payments for?
Your agency fee is for accessing our comprehensive database of cleaners/ironers, our time for  recruitment, selection, placement  and ongoing management of your cleaner
Such as replacement of cleaners should you require it.

What are your payment methods.
We accept standing order/direct debit for our regular cleaning and accept credit/debit card payments for other cleans.

Who pays the cleaner?
You pay the cleaner on the day of the work, after completing the cleaning / ironing task.

Why do I pay the cleaner and agency separately?
We encourage the cleaner to be self employed and collect our agency fee separately because, if you pay us and we in turn  pay the cleaner, we will then have to charge you more for additional expenses like:

  • Payroll run
  • Vat on cleaners salary
  • Employers NI etc.

Should  I increase the cleaner’s payment?
We advise that you stick to the going rate by the Agency. Paying your cleaners more does not improve their efficiency because, the Agency  goes through a lot of screening before allocating you a cleaner

Why do you collect your regular agency fee  by standing order

when clients pay by cheque we will have to remind them to keep up payment but, with the standing order, this is not needed, your service will run smoothly and this will subsequently allow us to keep offering you a fantastic service at a low fee. You will not be charged unless we place a cleaner with you

How do I handle cleaners’ Holiday Pay

Our clients have their cleaners self-employed, so they do not have to worry about holiday pay.

How do you charge for Ironing?

We charge the same hourly rate for both cleaning and ironing. It has been estimated that it will take the cleaner about one hour to iron 8 shirts. You can use the same hours for both cleaning and ironing but, give room for your ironing as well.

This is my first time employing a cleaner, how do I handle the situation?

All the cleaner want is to be treated with respect and dignity like anyone who is earning a living. They need a job that is why they contacted us in the first place and they are willing to do that job as long as they are happy. After-all said, if you are not happy with the cleaner you can always ask for a replacement.

Why the Key Security Form

The purpose of the key security form is to ensure that the cleaner keeps the clients key safe as long as they are in his/her possession. We advise that you use this form although, due to our high level of staff screening, it might not be needed but, do use it because we always use it when giving keys to cleaners for security reasons.

What area does your service cover?
We cover the whole Medway and Maidstone in Kent

Are there any restrictions on the kind of job the cleaner will do?
The cleaner is required to do the general cleaning of the house ( vacuuming, polishing, dusting, tidying, ironing, mopping cleaning) and not outside or window cleaning. They are not allowed to do any specialised cleaning of antique, delicate and valuable items.

How long does it take to find me a cleaner?
As soon as we receive your order, we will go through our comprehensive database of cleaners to check for a suitable cleaner and allocate you. Normally between 24 -48 hours.

Do you provide transport for your cleaner?
No. our cleaners use public transport or their personal vehicles.

Who provides the cleaning materials and products?
You provide all the cleaning materials and equipments for the cleaning.

Can I choose a day I want my cleaner to come?
You can of course choose a specific day you want the cleaner to come and we will try to get you a cleaner for that day

Can the cleaner clean for one hour?
No. the minimum hour a cleaner can clean is 3 hours. This is because it is not worth the cleaners time to come for just one hour, putting travel expenses into consideration.

Can the same cleaner clean my home every week?
Of course, the same cleaner can clean your home every week as long as you are happy with him/her.

Can the cleaner clean once a month?
Yes. But we cannot guarantee that it will be the same cleaner that will attend as most cleaners prefers a client that requires their services weekly.

What if the cleaner does not show up?
If your cleaner does not show up for any reason, just call us during office hours for a replacement.

Can the cleaner visit in my absence?
Yes. Your cleaner can visit your home when you are at work or somewhere else. You just leave a set of keys for her and she will continue with her cleaning task. Our cleaners have been well trained on the safe keeping of clients’ keys.

Can the cleaners by trusted with alarm codes.
Yes. We ask all cleaner to memorise the clients alarm codes and not to write them down

What happens in the event of the cleaner losing the key.
To assure you. cleaners have been told not to leave the address of the client’s home on the key and in the event of the cleaner losing the keys, you will be told immediately to enable you change the locks.
 
What do I do if I am not happy with the cleaner?
Just give us a call and a replacement will be found for you as soon as possible. Which is normally between 5-7 working days.

How do I cancel my service?
Our minimum contract is 3 months. You can cancel your contract by giving us one month notice in writing to take effect at the end of the period.

I am ready, how do I get started?.
You can either call the office, email us or book online

What are your working hours?
Our working hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Friday.We are closed on Saturdays,Sundays and Bank holidays

What happens if I move to a new address?
We will transfer your account to your new address as long as it is within the area we cover.

Can the cleaner clean on Sundays and public holiday?
Although our office is closed on Sundays and Public holidays, some cleaners do not mind cleaning on these days. If you need a cleaning service on these days please, contact us on our normal working hours to book your cleaner.

Do I pay for your service when I am away on holidays?
No. you pay only for the time the cleaner is at your home. Please give us a 14 days notice to suspend your service when you know you are going to be away and 48 hours to resume your service when you return.

What hours do your cleaner work?
Our cleaners work from 7am- 8pm weekly. Most of our customers prefer these hours as they don’t want to disturb their neighbours.

Do you allow cancellation of bookings?
You can cancel your bookings anytime, just give us a 48 hours notice

What happens if the cleaner misses a clean? Do I get a refund for the agency payment?

If a clean is missed on account of the cleaner being sick or for other reasons, you can claim a no charge period and your account adjusted. Get in touch with us if you have any queries?
